Nicole strives to inspire confidence in clients making important financial decisions. A rare Chapel Hill native, Nicole brings over 13 years of advisory experience and 18 years of financial expertise to the Chatham/Orange County communities. As a cancer survivor and a successful single mother of two teenagers, she understands the importance of financial and legacy planning regardless of age and stage of life. Nicole enters each meeting with compassion, determination, and practical advice based on her personal and professional experiences. She values diverse perspectives and has a unique ability to simplify complex investing and planning concepts. Nicole leads the Robertson/Frost Team and the practice sheds light on ESG (environmental, social and governance) investing , special needs planning , LGBTQ planning, Long Term Care solutions, and estate settlement for our client base.
Nicole isn’t afraid of hard work. She’s trained and competed in over 30 triathlons—even crossing the finish line of the infamous Escape from Alcatraz triathlon in San Francisco! It comes as no surprise that Nicole loves the outdoors and exploring all our planet has to offer. She and her beautiful daughters, Kayla (UNC Charlotte) and Natalie (Senior, Carrboro High School), enjoy international travel and volunteer regularly for organizations in support of animal rights. Nicole is an active board member of Carolina Tiger Rescue located in Pittsboro, NC. In her (very) limited spare time, she loves to garden and tackle home design projects. She’ll use any excuse to grab a paint brush and a little creative license.
